Nearly 1 in 5 or 46.6 million Americans (NIH, 2017) are affected by mental health and substance abuse disorders each year, yet it is estimated that less than half receive treatment. A professional’s ability to perform appropriate assessments, and intervene timely and effectively, will enable our professions to have an impact on these critical issues facing our communities. Co-occurring conditions add to the complexity in the presentation and response to clients. This conference will focus on recent trends and developments as well as specific strategies for intervention.
Join us for a powerful conference focusing on recent mental health trends, developments in preventive and support services, specific strategies for early identification and intervention, and other related topics.
