Building Our Courageous Leadership Skills
Facilitated by Laurie Dahley, PhD, MSW, LISW

When we think of courageous leaders, we imagine a cape and a superhero who saves the day with a superpower. In truth courageous leadership takes the ability to be vulnerable and speak your truth with integrity and courage. This presentation will explore the relationship between courageous leadership and the well-being and functioning of our teams. We will examine ways in which we can build our “courage” with skills employed through everyday interactions with others. Grounded in our values, we will explore how living courageously also impacts our wellness and fosters a sense of authenticity in our work.

Welcome to the 2023 Supervision Webinars!

Supervision plays a key role in building the skills and effectiveness of professionals while also improving quality services for our clients. The importance of effective supervision was identified and validated by licensing boards, requiring supervisors to engage in continuing education specific to supervision topics. To support you in meeting these criteria, we have created a webinar series devoted to relevant topics and focused on building critical skills. Webinars will be held bimonthly on the second Tuesday of the month from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

As a bonus, after you register for six webinars, you will receive a $20 coupon code to be used toward future programming, including online courses, conferences, and future webinars. If you sign up for a webinar and are unable to attend, all webinars will be recorded and posted into your account after the event (the online version is an independent study under the board’s guidelines and the certificate will reflect this).
