K-16 Professionals

Building skills for today's classrooms

Concordia's Education Department sets a high standard for excellence, not only for its faculty but for students in the program. Faculty nurture and mentor students through liberal arts experiences, preparing them with more than the skills needed to build a solid curriculum. They are given perspective and insight into other essential qualities needed in classrooms today.
As students transition from our classrooms to their own, we aim to provide consistent, high-quality continued education for all K-16 professionals. Under the umbrella of the Education Department, our STAR Institute of Education provides practicing educators with resources, training, events and connections to an strong peer community. Our focus is on collaborative sharing and implementing positive innovations in today's classrooms to ensure all students success in the future.
