Herding cats, a scenario that would be a challenging task. Managing people, including social workers, can also be a challenging task. Cats are independent and do not like to be told what to do. Are these some of the traits of our best social work staff? We want social workers who are independent thinkers and doers. We look for social work staff who keep looking for resources and help for clients, even when they have been told no. This short course will discuss some tips for leaders in the field of managing people, social workers and yes, even cats!
